“We da bomb!”
19 May
Well, we are actually not “late” this week, but had our first content-related difficulty!
We made a recording dealing with the “mad cow disease” and American beef issue, but the conversation got too “excited” and verrrrrry long. The problem is that it became nearly impossible to edit, since we were all talking over one another, so…we have to do it over. Hehe.
Since our schedules only allow us to meet once a week, we couldn’t re-record and have our transcriber prepare everything on time. So we’re a bit behind with this episode. But prepare yourselves! The conversation on 광우병 IS coming, as well as other good things. We just made a decision between keeping to the schedule, or keeping our quality up. We decided to go with quality.
So we’d rather have a delayed episode than a bad one. Please understand!

How can I say…
It’s becoming some INSTINCTIVE routine for me to check
the new episode in bomb enlgish.
Always and suddenly I found myself clicking my ‘favorite bookmark’ without realizing it.
You’re totally responsible !!!
Please, Keep up the great work.
Thanx Million, Michael and Jennifer.
P.S. Reserve hands available (if Eungyul is too tired, just let me get the file)
Since I still haven’t completely worked my way through all your episodes, I’m delighted to be completely unaffected by this delay. For me, Bomb English is a daily podcast. (That will change very soon when I catch up and am forced to wait a week between episodes like everyone else.)
Well, I understand how you guys have difficulties making this episode, since the issue is soooo hot and so sensitive for many koreans.
Actually, I saw some posts in the Marmot’s Hole, and some of them were very criticizing about the korean publics, protests…. I think that’s because they just don’t know the detail things of the agreement and don’t understand how most koreans feel about it.
Anyways, I’m waiting for this episode so much!
I’ll be happy to hear some interesting, brilliant perspectives that I couldn’t think!
Well, I would take anything said at the Marmot’s Hole with a grain of salt. After all, do you believe everything on Naver blogs? Daum Cafe? The netizens are probably not the best example of rational human dialog, no matter what the nationality.
That said . . . I think that most foreigners here actually DO know a lot about the details of the agreement, the cattle industry, and the FTA. It’s a big issue in the foreign community right now, and many people are doing their best to research and stay informed.
wow… Can’t wait to hear different perspectives on this issue. I feel kinda uncomfortable brining this issue in my class because my students would go mad!!! -_- Anyhoot, thank you guys again.
Hello~ Jennifer and Michael!
I can’t wait to listent to your upcoming new episode.
I guess there might many listeners who do not actively respond to your podcast by leaving any comment or participating but really into it and enjoy every episode like me.
