We want to show that English can be taught effectively and without condescending to the students, and that language should be a tool of COMMUNICATION, not mere STUDY. So, when speaking English, you should actually SAY SOMETHING INTERESTING. We think the timing is also right for something like this, and Koreans are ready for something different. This is the age of UCC, of real "user-created content." The days of everything being generic and controlled by the broadcast media and big companies are ending. And we want to be among the first to prove that point. So, in short, yes, going to visit study groups for free may seem a bit weird, but we do have something to gain from it: dedicated listeners.
